Gordon Wright

Gordon Wright renders soft, clean and simplistic water colour and oil paintings of lakes, country churches, rural villages and the surrounding countryside.
Gordon's paintings can be seen at his lakeside Cottage Studio Gallery located on Kennebec Lake, as well as in various studio tours and local galleries.
Gordon was born in Ottawa in 1946 and has sold privately for over 40 years, winning awards for his work while painting with the Bells Corners Art League in Ottawa (1970-1980). Many of Gordon's pieces hang in Ontario and parts of the United States.
Now retired, Gordon lives with his wife Rita on Lake Kennebec- near Arden, Ontario, fulfilling his passion for painting the area's landscapes and living by his motto: "Beauty flows out of Simplicity"
